We shall never pass your e-mail onto third parties. Period.

In previous blog posts, we've taught you how to attract viewers to your page and engage them upon arriving to your website; but how do you position yourself as an expert in the content you are creating?

You can increase the rate of attendance to your website by becoming the go-to source in your field. For example, Tara Stiles, a once run of the mill yoga instructor, has created a magnificent presence on social media and blog sites, driving viewers to utilize her as the go-to yoga instructor.

How did she do it?

  1. Be specific about the field you want to position yourself in. For example, "Healthy Eating", is a vague market, while "Paleo" and "Organic" are very specific niches. Once you've developed your field, be sure to create 3-4 words you'll utilize frequently which will create website conversion rate optimization.

  2. Create your brand identity and make it consistent. Develop a strong look and don't defer away from it on any of your landing pages; blog, social media or website. Brand identity should include: photo(s) associated with the brand, your logo, font (consistent, do not vary multiple fonts), and a tagline. It may also be helpful at this time to determine your target audience.

  3. Create great content and disperse it to your audience utilizing Seomaton's landing page tricks of the trade. Aim for one great piece of content on your landing page per week.

  4. Create a sign up list to disperse your content weekly, which will be beneficial when you obtain a large number of new followers by following #5.

  5. Submit your content to other blogs with high traffic. Many do not offer compensation, but will offer links to your website that align with your brand and target audience. For example, if you chose organic food, you would submit to a blog who focuses on holistic, healthy living. If you chose computer science, you would research blogs in which this realm of content is continuously produced.

Those are our five tips to get you started as positioning yourself as an expert in your field. We look forward to your increased viewership, expert!
